How we transformed the REVIVAL to a runway- a Sustainable Fashion Show Recap

Recap: A Hundred Lives of Levi’s by Deanna Flinn.

On Thursday, September 11, we had the joy of transforming REVIVAL into a runway with the support of the City of Vancouver’s Tiny Spaces Program. Our sidewalk and Gertrude Guerin Plaza became the stage for Deanna Flinn’s collection, A Hundred Lives of Levi’s.

It turned out to be a beautiful day, with a warm and supportive crowd gathered to celebrate. The models brought such presence to the runway, and Deanna’s hand-sewn designs—crafted entirely from repurposed denim—looked stunning against the urban backdrop. The response from attendees was heartfelt and encouraging, reminding us how powerful it can be to bring community and creativity together.

We are so grateful to our models, event volunteers, and everyone who helped make this event possible. Thank you as well to the City of Vancouver for supporting us through the Tiny Spaces Program.

If you weren’t able to join us, there’s still time—Deanna Flinn’s collection will be at REVIVAL until the end of September. We’d love for you to come by, see the pieces up close, and share in this celebration of sustainable fashion.
